Welcome to Lynette’s Embroidery

Need sewing and embroidery services? or alterations done? I am able to provide this service. I offer a prompt service and will do one off type work that the bigger embroidery companies will not offer. I also offer classes for Sewing, Embroidery and classes.

I currently work full time after moving back from Australia to Christchurch. I will be offering classes on alternate Saturday mornings for now and will extend in the future as time permits.

I also do alterations and repairs, hems etc. Have your school kids ripped their uniform? You might be surprised that we may be able to fix these at a reasonable cost, especially when you consider the cost of new uniforms.

Digitising

What is Digitising? Digitising is when we take some art and turn it into an electronic embroidery file that can be interpreted by Computerized embroidery machines.

We can offer the service of turning your logo or design into electronic format for you and/or stitch out the design for you. The example shown was taken from the Bribie Island Country Music Club logo and we have used it to design a book cover.

Confirmation & Baptismal Stoles

We create embroidered stoles for any occasion. Our custom stoles have been used within Catholic schools for years and we are now setting up a separate site due to popularity. We can provide either a fancy trimming or a flat or angled cut. There are a variety of images we can use on the stoles or we can digitize a design you provide.

Towels, Handkerchiefs etc

Great for birthday, Christmas Presents etc. Personalised for yourself or that perfect gift. We can embroider images, flowers or any simple artwork.

Here is a towel and face cloths for baby. In this case the edges have been hand crocheted.

Branding

Display your business brand on t-shirts, jumpers etc.

We can digitize your design from your company logo and stitch on to one, two, three or a thousand shirts. The more items we do the better discount we can negotiate
